The path on the dike to Bollen is overgrown with grass.
Difficult to drive for a bike with a dog trailer.

Exactly, first the path is well paved with concrete, then it goes up the dike. Single trail, slightly bumpy, but everything is doable and passable. Estimated it is a kilometer of grass trail, then back down to asphalt as described. Good views, quiet and scenic.
