The St. Veit Church towers high above the town of Wünschendorf. It is in the middle of many ancient alleys. The medieval stone reliefs with stations from the Passion of Christ are particularly worth seeing. Inside the church you can feel the mystical atmosphere created by the time-honored walls. The position of the baptismal font, which is located directly in the entrance area (instead of at the altar), is unusual for this church. The outside area with its garden also exudes its very own aura in summer.

Oldest Protestant parish church in Thuringia, 1974 - 1000th anniversary of the church. How old is the church today? ;-)
