The wine and the Main – this is a love story that has been harmonizing very well for a very long time and is bearing wonderful fruit. Around a quarter of Franconian vineyards are cultivated on the Mainschleife, which is the largest contiguous wine-growing region in Franconia. Some of the best winemakers in Germany and the world are at home here and pamper connoisseurs and connoisseurs with the finest and noblest wines. So on a classic adventure hike in the vineyard on a grape variety nature trail, the focus is naturally on the wine. Around four wines are tasted on such a tour in about an hour. On the Main loop there are a total of four contact points, Volkach and three other towns, where such a grape variety hike is offered. During the season there is an appointment almost every Saturday, where guests traveling individually can register. Group bookings are always possible.
