It became known as a police station for the ZDF series "Die Rosenheim-Cops".
The town hall can also look back on an eventful history: in 1858, after three years of construction, the building went into operation as Rosenheim's first train station. The station was considered one of the most beautiful in Bavaria. But in 1878 the building stopped serving its original purpose as a train station and became the town hall. Up until 1997, numerous renovations, demolitions and extensions took place inside the building.
