There are actually many paths, mountain roads and trails over the Wäsmeli. With this in mind, sooner or later you will pass here when you are on the first Jura chain in the Grenchen / Solothurn area. The Wäsmeli itself doesn’t really offer anything in terms of views or refreshments, you either have to go down to the rest of the Stierenberg or, even better, go up to the rest of the Untergrenchenberg.

Mountain biking

The Wäsmeli is a small plateau with parking spaces. It is the starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. From here you can bike practically in all directions. It also defines the end or the beginning of the Wäsmeli Trail. The Stierenberg restaurant is located a few 100 meters below Wäsmeli. If you follow the Unterbergstrasse up, you get to the Grenchenberg.
