Hiking

The clock tower stands on the former site of a barracks built by the German Wehrmacht in 1935. From 1945 it was used by the Soviet Army. The clock tower was once located on the parade ground, which was considered the center of the barracks, and was preserved as the last evidence of military use on the site of the former TÜP. Today, this free-standing tower, which is interesting in terms of architectural history, is an eye-catcher from the Freienwalder Straße and still marks the original center of the former barracks.
