The municipal bathing facility in Eberswalde was built in 1926 on the site of an outdoor bathing facility from 1875. The bath ceased operations in the 1990s. Since 2009, the pool has been expanded to become MarinaPark Eberswalde.
From 1909 to 1939, the Eberswalde experimental radio station operated by the company C. Lorenz AG Berlin (telephone station) was located at the Eberswalde Municipal Baths. 1923) is considered the inventor of German entertainment broadcasting.
