Directly below the completely renovated Wittelsbach Castle is the castle park with the newly designed pond.
You can enjoy the rippling of the water in the pond and the nature on benches and wooden loungers. Footpaths lead from here around the palace complex. They are the idyllic “access” from the ancient tanners' quarter “Unterm Berg” up to the “new” castle and the historic old town with its clockmaker's alleys and buildings worth seeing.
