Beautiful Church! Opposite the church is a restaurant / eatery with a terrace overlooking the church. If you take the road between the church and that restaurant, you cycle up the beautiful driveway with old trees on both sides, so that you enter the Nienoord estate through the 'back'. You will then pass the borg Nienoord (beautiful building from the 17th century, also with a restaurant / terrace (which is only open during the day). On the other side of Nienoord you will then arrive at the Leekstermeer (left) or in the center of Seemed (turn right).

Hiking

Beautiful church from the 12th century. Inside you immediately notice the enormous marble tomb that Anna van Ewsum († 1714) had made for her first husband. Her second husband and herself are also carved in marble.
Furthermore, the men's sofa stands out. Here the nobility took place during the service and literally looked down on the 'common' people and the preacher.
