On the way from Puttgarden to the east coast you can use the lighthouse as a waymarker. It is right next to the decommissioned lighthouse and can be seen from afar, but like the other lighthouses it cannot be visited. From the pier, a cycle path leads directly to the east coast, where you can continue southwards and get to know the beauty of the east coast.
