Hiking

The Gleißental is a little over eight kilometers long and around 25 meters deep cut in the Munich district. The dry valley stretches from the Deininger Weiher in the south to the Oberhaching district of Deisenhofen in the north. There it merges into the valley of the Hachinger Bach. The Deininger Weiher, which is also known as the Gleißentalweiher, has the Gleißenbach as its outflow, which initially enters the Gleißental but disappears after just a few hundred meters.
