Directly from St. Johanner Markt, you reach Fröschengasse. The former artisans' and workers' houses on this side street were partly built onto the former city wall. Since 1978, the alley has been restored, largely in the Baroque style. Restaurants with idyllic courtyards invite you to linger. At the end of Fröschengasse (Saarstraße), the flood marks testify to Saarbrücken's location on the river.
