The Wadden Sea Visitor Center offers something for every adventure and curiosity on three floors. Natural history tours of the mudflats, the salt marshes, and the coastal heaths are offered, as is a permanent exhibition on the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site and the Cuxhaven coastal heaths. You can explore the exhibition independently or follow the audio guide. The unique view from the panoramic windows alone is worth a visit. Of particular interest to children are the aquariums, which showcase typical Wadden Sea inhabitants in their underwater world. The entire building is barrier-free, and people with walking difficulties can borrow the Wadden Sea Mobile for a free excursion into the mudflats.

Away from the crowds, it can be reasonably quiet at this beach section (without beach chairs). It is not far to the feed mile and the carriages to the island Neuwerk can be observed from here also well.
