The Wadden Sea Visitor Center has something for every experience or thirst for knowledge on three floors. Natural history tours to the mudflats, in the salt marshes or in the coastal heaths are offered as well as a permanent exhibition on the Wadden Sea World Heritage and the Cuxhaven coastal heaths. You can independently explore the exhibition or be guided by the audio guide. Just the unique view from the panoramic windows is worth a visit. Particularly interesting for the children are the aquariums that show the typical inhabitants of the Wadden Sea in their underwater world. The whole house is barrier-free and people with a disability can borrow the Wattmobile for a trip to the Watt for free.

The new Wadden Sea visitor center is located slightly away from the big bustle of Sahlenburg directly in the dunes. Very informative with a view out to the sea.
