Generally worth the walk along the Vauban fortress, sometimes you can climb with a little and flashlight into the interior.

Neuf-Brisach was built at the beginning of the 18th century by the fortress builder Prestre de Vauban, who used it as a planned town in the form of an octagon with a central parade ground, which is now used as a marketplace, and a grid-shaped road network as the ideal form of a fortified city. In the city there were accommodations for soldiers and officers, utilities, a church, houses for non-military residents of different estates. The system of walls, ditches and gates around the city is still impressive today.
