The Morgenbühl is a high plateau with sparse vegetation. On the nutrient-poor soil grow various shrubs such as hazel, sloe and hawthorn. You should not have fear of reptiles, because this is where the snake snake feels at home. But even cuter animals like the Red-backed Shrike are at home here.
From Morgenbühl, take a look at the opposing Staffelberg. Here you can capture the Staffelberg with its rock towers once again in its full dimension. An absolutely magical place that radiates unbelievable peace. Time to just enjoy the moment.

Walking on ancient paths: The way to Morgenbühl on the "Seerangen" runs over a historic Aufweg, a so-called Altstrasse. This road marks at the same time the former district boundary between the villages Horsdorf and Dittersbrunn.
Even in ancient times, the road was used as a link between the pastors and led down to the present district of Bamberg.
