"The mill rattles ..." is the motto of this idyllic bike ride. Experience two river valleys, which impress with old mill buildings and karst rocky landscape. You start at the head of the two river valleys: in Weismain, the gateway to the Franconian Jura. Follow the signs with the brown mill wheel, which first leads you along the Krassach towards Wunkendorf. On your way to the Jura Heights you drive through shady forests past well-known rock towers, such as the Jura Guardian.Over the high plateau you reach the juniper slopes in the Kleinziegenfelder valley and can wave to the cyclist Claudius. If you are lucky, you will meet the shepherd with his flock on the way. On your way back to Weismain, the Weismain accompanies you, who created a beautiful valley. If you get a little hungry en route, friendly beer gardens and rustic taverns offer a place to enjoy.More information about the Krassachtal and Kleinziegenfelder Tal at stadt-weismain.de

Celtic path G - magnificent views
Celtic path G promises “grandiose views”. No wonder, because two of the most beautiful panoramic paths are on this round trip.
It goes "up and down" lively. But the climbs are worthwhile when you have a view of the Staffelberg and the surrounding hilly landscape - and accompany you over long distances. If you can't get enough of a view, you can scramble for a detour to the Alte Staffelberg before small inns in the valley beckon with a well-earned snack. Domestic beer should of course not be missing.
TIP: In the Döbertengrund between Ützig and Serkendorf there are numerous direct marketers who sell their products from the farm. Have a look at: obermain-jura.de/de/genussregion/direkt-einkaufen/direktvermarkter-obermain-jura
