From Gütenbach, past the Faller works, it goes here with a moderate incline up to just over 1000 meters on the best asphalted, narrow and hardly used road over to Furtwangen, if you like you can stop at the hotel "Goldener Rabe" for a break.
Much more attractive than the very broad country road L173 from Gütenbach, which runs quite charmingly up to here from the Simonswalder valley.
