This viewpoint Ponta da Madrugada offers an immense view over the north coast of the island and part of the mountains of the municipality of Nordeste. From here you can see Fajã do Lombo Gordo and Ponta da Marquesa in the distance.
The entire area is populated by a rich forest cover in which the typical Macaronesian laurel forest predominates.
