It's about the journey not the destination
Day 5 in Bad Langensalza:The first part took us on the K2 Kneipp and Kleinbahnradweg to Bad Tennstedt. Great route on the former railway line, so only slight inclines 😁.The next part to Gebesee was not so great because it was partly on busy roads. We drove back to Bad Langensalza on the quiet Unstrut cycle path, partly through almost untouched nature.Overall, a very nice tour.

Today 4th day in Bad Langensalza:
Today's cycle tour first took us over the beautiful Unstrut cycle path to Mühlhausen. We parked our bikes there and strolled through the old town.
Then we cycled on the Lutherweg in the direction of Heinich.
On the way there, in Niederdorla, we first passed the center of Germany and then the impressive Mallinden, a former courtroom.
Finally we drove from Kammerforst in an arc to Craula through the Heinich National Park.
Past the treetop path it went back to Bad Langensalza

Today 3rd day in Bad Langensalza:
In the morning we took advantage of the open monument day and looked at some churches, the city museum and the pharmacist museum. Then it should be an extended bike tour, namely the city - surrounding area. We had a huge map with us, which we unfortunately needed very often 🙄 and also the one or two google maps 😅.
There were simply no signs on the way so that we followed the way rather roughly 😁.Nevertheless, it was a beautiful, varied tour through the hilly landscape around Bad Langensalza.

Today 2nd day in Bad Langensalza:
In the morning we took part in a city tour in which we learned a lot about the history of the city. Then we reached our apartment with the first raindrops. After the rain we went again and looked at 4 gardens, all of them very close to us.First the Nsturgarten of the BUND in which there is also a nice café.Then the Japanese garden. Then the rose garden in which there are countless types of roses. Finally the magnolia garden, which now in late summer could only be guessed at how wonderful it is in spring. All gardens are also branches of the Federal Horticultural Show 2021 in Erfurt and are really worth seeing.

Due to the challenge, you were a bit limited in the southern district today 😊 but we made it to Abenberg. Only had to cross the bike course once. On the way back we made a bigger curve and crossed under the running track at the canal. A short break at Rothsee and home again
