The old hut of the Alpe Nefelgiù (2049 m) is located in a small high valley, where small streams spring around it - a nice place and a good resting place, before going up steeply to Passo di Nefelgiù. It was renovated in 1996 and is accessible as emergency bivouac (for GTA hikers). In its simplicity, it still gives a good idea of how simple alpine huts used to be.
