A beautiful site with a rich history. Beautiful buildings, water tower, weeping tree and other plants and pond. The Pieterpad runs straight through the site. There are signs with impressive texts along the paths

Dennenoord is a nationally protected village. It was built at the end of the 19th century for an asylum of the Association for the Christian Care of the Insane and Nervous Sufferers in the Netherlands. The Lentis mental health institution is currently using a large number of the pavilions.
