Historical point: around 1390 the village of Andepen and its little church were razed to the ground. Only 100 years later Johan Graf von Westphalen dared to start a new company. The deed of incorporation is dated April 30, 1490.
The Andeper bell stayed in a farming family for centuries. In 1994 and 1996 Leiberger associations redesigned the old Andep church and built a bell tower with a copy of the old Andep bell.
