Location: Thomasburg, Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, Germany
The church stands on the Kirchberg, a hill in the lowlands of Neetze. Opposite is the old Thomasburg school, now a residential building.
Documented "Totimesborg" (Thomasburg) first mentioned in 1124. The church collapses in 1643, but is immediately rebuilt.
At the beginning of this century, 1907/08, the Peter and Paul Church is rebuilt. The entrance porch will be created, the sanctuary extended and the organ loft installed. From donations, the altar, the pulpit, the baptism, the lectern, sconces, the organ and much more are purchased.
1990/93, the church is thoroughly renovated and renovated and now shows again the color scheme from 1908.Source:
