She was busy collecting when she noticed a merchant with a large cloth on his back walking along the so-called "Aura Plan". Vroni knew this merchant. When he discovered the pretty young girl behind a bush, he woke up an evil desire and he tried to engage the girl in a conversation to make her willing, but the girl saw through his intention and when he wanted to reach for her, she kept calling all the saints: Maria, Therese, Ilona , Gretchen, Peter and Paul etc. So she deceived the man into letting her go because he thought there were more friends with the girl collecting berries.He took his cloth and disappeared.She made her very excited on her way home and arrived white as a sheet at her parents' house.She told her parents about the incident and that above all calling for the saints placed her under their protection and the merchant let her go.Thereupon erected her parents ate this wayside shrine at the entrance to the communal forest, also known as the Stone of the Saints.
