A ride on the rack railway from Rüdesheim is said to have lasted around 14 minutes, bringing up to 5,000 people to the Niederwald every 20 minutes: in 1884 the train, consisting of a machine and two cars with 90 seats, was in been put into operation and you can still walk in his footsteps today and experience views like back then. ..."
