In the now abandoned quarry, light, coarse-grained granites from Leuchtenberger were found
Granite massif mined. The granites show excellent fracturing and "banking". Even though
Parts of the quarry today are taken up by a lake, due to the many stockpiles
Heaped up large granite blocks the rock can be viewed well.
Own opinion: The "system" needs thorough maintenance by those responsible. Recommend sturdy shoes.
