The Schochenspitze is a 2,069 meter high mountain of the Vilsalpseegruppe in the Allgäu Alps. The summit can be easily reached on the normal route and accordingly receives frequent visitors.

Easy to reach if you come from direction Neunerköpfle. Probably because of the trains so busy.

We stood wonderfully in the clouds, so the view was somewhat limited that day. Nevertheless, it was great to have arrived at the top, the summit book unfortunately fell apart, so we did without an entry and prefer to take pictures. But this is really just a tiny defect.

The view is definitely worth it.
At this summit you should be free from giddiness. There it goes down very steeply and the short way there is narrow.Unfortunately, in the summer months, too, a high number of tourists can be expected, as it is still part of the catchment area of the Neunerköpfle Railway.

One of the most beautiful panoramic views that I know. Definitely worth it and the way from the pass is short and easy to reach in simple serpentines. So don't miss this summit.

Great view from up there

The difficult ascent is rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view over Traunalpsee and Vilsalpsee and the surrounding peaks. Coming from Neunerköpfle briefly Kraxelei with rope insurance.
