The city garden in Dülken is worth a visit at any time of the year, especially because of the old trees. There is a playground and a climbing rock for children. Many benches invite you to take a break and have a picnic.

The Dülken city garden is more than a hundred years old. A beautification association from 1899 wanted to connect the Süchtelner Heights with the city by creating a new city garden. In 1910 the first pieces of land were acquired for this purpose. The garden architect Emil Hardt planned to create a public garden that would be called “Kaiser Wilhelm Park”. The city has been responsible for maintaining the city garden since 1964.
