Bretterschlag (Petřejov)
The former, centuries-old village of Bretterschlag is located just a few hundred meters from the German-Austrian border in a small forest. After the Germans were expelled, all the houses here were demolished and almost razed to the ground. Only a few ruins are still visible here. However, survivors and former residents of the village still meet today and keep the memory of this place alive, which has been erased from nature but not from memory. In 2014, a memorial was set up here and consecrated by the church.
