When the Innerste reaches the village of Buntenbock after three kilometers of river flow, its water has already been prevented from continuing to flow untroubled in the duck swamp in the upper Nassenwieser pond, in the Bärenbrucher pond, in the Ziegenberger pond and in the large swamp pond. Numerous tributaries have made the initially small mountain stream grow into a stately river.
