  • The Euzenberg Tower was one of the historical waiting areas of the medieval fortification system of the city of Duderstadt. It was built in 1926. The 22 meter high reinforced concrete obelisk is crowned by a monumental cross.
The cross has the shape of a triple double cross. A metal ball, in which the foundation deeds are contained, forms the intermediate piece to a smaller triple double cross.
This is what it says in the Westeröder Chronicle.

  • The following inscriptions in Gothic letters are attached to the tower:
    Christ imperat - Christ rules
    Christ regnat - Christ rules
    Christ uniat- Christ unites and
    Christ vincit- Christ conquers
