Since Beiersdorf was first mentioned at the end of the 13th century, documents attest that the farming village was torn. So he felt early belonging to Seelingstädt, later to Trebsen. Beiersdorf enjoyed a boom in the 19th century. Through school, coal shaft, pottery factory and church, the place developed. A significant role is still played today by agriculture. From the four arms of a differently developed intersection, there is the rustic road and church village. The evil slander of malicious neighbors "If the Beiersdorf does not have to, he touches neither hand nor foot" is refuted by the reality. At 207.3 m, the Lindberg is the highest elevation. The Kranichbach, which flows through Seelingstädt and flows into the United Mulde at Trebsen, rises in the damp lowland behind the bus stop on Neuer Seelingstädter Straße.
