Beautiful forest path along the Wietze. The path east of the Wietze is well paved, sometimes even with concrete strips. The smaller dirt road on the western bank is more suitable for hikers than cyclists. I only drove the western route once. The ground is quite soft and the grass is quite high. Sometimes there are nettles. More than once I wondered how I could get to the other side on my bike.
