The two Gothic town churches rise at the respective ends and the town hall is located in the middle between them.
In the south of Marktstrasse are half-timbered houses from the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. After the reconstruction of the houses that burned down in 1852, the north is characterized by architecturally simple and uniform half-timbered buildings.
