On the edge of Exmoor National Park, Wimbleball Lake is a vast reservoir with an impressive dam. There are hiking and cycling trails around the lake as well as watersports courses and hire available.
This lake is also within a designated Dark Sky Site, making its banks a wonderful place to visit at night and stargaze. During the day, see if you can spot the local wildlife, from waterfowl to deer and weasels.
