The River Roddlesworth Footpath that runs past Roddlesworth Reservoirs is a well-trodden scenic footpath that forms part of the Witton Weavers Way. This is a national long-distance footpath that has four separate footpaths, the Beamers, Reelers, Tacklers and Warpers trails, respectively 6, 8, 9, and 9 miles, that have been joined together to form a complete 32-mile (51 km) circular loop.

I took in a small section of that path in a walk around Roddlesworth reservoirs. That section went through a beautiful woodlands. As you would expect from a long distance path; it is very well maintained and pleasant to walk on.
