With the laying of the foundation stone on August 6th, 1882, construction of the chapel in the center of Hüster began. The traditional Iseringhauser "meeting", which has been carried out annually since 1650, was to be offered a worthy stop and for common prayers one no longer wanted to be dependent on the weather. The construction was made possible mainly by the estate of Regina Wolfschläger in the amount of 2,700 marks at the time to the village community of Husten. Without an heir, she died of nerve fever in 1880 at the age of 24.
