Cycling

There has been a church dedicated to Saint Sebastian in Lemsdorf since the 13th or 14th century. With a size of only around 120 m², it no longer met the needs of the village, which had grown significantly at the end of the 19th century and was still just outside Magdeburg. The old building made of field stones was blown up by Magdeburg pioneers in November 1887. The foundation stone for a new church was laid on August 16, 1889 and the inauguration on November 9, 1890.
