Kampsheide is the oldest area of Stichting Het Drentse Landschap, purchased in 1948. Heathland, soaking wet patches of heath, an incredibly beautiful fen, magnificent juniper thickets, strubben, a beautiful es with a dolmen, more than fifty burial mounds, marshy maggots in an old stream valley, old oak forests, beech forests and hedgerows. The whole of Drenthe in two hours, you won't find that anywhere else...
