Lake Segrino is a small Lombard pre-Alpine lake located between the municipalities of Canzo, Longone al Segrino and Eupilio. Narrow and elongated in shape, it rises in the valley bordered by Monte Cornizzolo and Monte Scioscia in the Larian triangle. Lake Segrino is considered the cleanest lake in Europe by virtue of its underground sources and the absence of industrial pollution or excessive tourist exploitation.
