The church was built from 1770 to 1786 in the late baroque style, which stands out from the southern German baroque in its simplicity. At the same place the first church was built in the village in the 10th century, which had arisen in the vicinity of the Fulda monastery. In the course of time, this village developed into a handicraft and merchant settlement on the Handelsstrasse and Heerstrasse, which led from the lower Main area to Thuringia.Source: Fulda parish

The parish church of St. Blasius can be found in the middle of the city center. A very beautiful church! On the square in front you can drink very good coffee!
