The Darmbachquelle is just one of many enclosed sources in the region. But she is very special. Not only because the Darmbach springs here, after all, the city of Darmstadt has given its name. Hiking

The Darmbach has its source in the Darmstadt Ostwald. There the Darmbach is fed by several springs. The contained Darmbachquelle (also called Darmquelle) is located about 300 meters southwest of the 231 meter high Stellkopf in the district of Ober-Ramstadt, a few meters above the Oberjägermeisterteich, which is fed by the Darmbach.
