The Höllentalanger hut is located at 1,387 meters and is managed from late May to mid-October. Fantastic location at the end of the Höllentalklamm and at the foot of the Zugspitze with a beautiful sun terrace and fantastic views.
In total there are 106 beds available. The hut of the DAV is the ideal starting point to climb the Zugspitze from its challenging side via the famous Höllentalroute.
The original Höllentalanger hut had to be demolished in 2013, as it no longer met today's requirements for fire protection, workplace guidelines or the hygienic requirements of food law. In their place, the new Höllentalangerhütte was built in 2014-15.

The Höllentalanger is the valley floor from the Höllental from the Höllentalklamm to the rock barrier in front of the Höllental-Kar. At the end of Höllentalanger separate the way to the Zugspitze and the Riffelscharte.

One of the most modern huts of the German Alpine Club.
Interesting structure.
Despite much operation, we had no waiting times while eating and drinking.
