In honor of the "Heidi" inventor
The Heidi fountain is on the road to St. Luzisteig. It was inaugurated in 1953 in memory of the writer Johanna Spiry. It was and still is a popular excursion destination.

The Heidiweg is a circular route and leads from the Maienfeld train station through the alleys of the historic town of Maienfeld, past the vineyards typical of the region to the Heididorf.
From the Heididorf, the Heidiweg leads on to the Hotel/Restaurant Heidihof with a large viewing terrace.
