At the Hirschgrubenalm you can enjoy a delicious snack and the schnapps is not to be sniffed at either. The little hikers enjoy the cows and rabbits that live here at 1,564 meters in a true paradise. The alpine hut is over 100 years old and many of the products on the menu are made by the innkeepers themselves. You can stay overnight in double and triple rooms. You can find more information about the Hirschgrubenalm at grossarltal.info/de/almen/hirschgrubenalm.html.

Very beautiful alpine pasture that we visited as part of a guided hike from our hotel. The cheese snack is very good. There are nice play opportunities for the children.
The ascent is possible via the paved forest road, as well as via paths in the forest. The first is suitable for strollers, but I would advise against the second option.
