The Modereggalm is located at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park at 1,720 meters. The somewhat steep climb from the Stockham parking lot is definitely worth it, as you'll be rewarded with a delicious snack at the alpine pasture. The Modereggalm also offers overnight accommodation.

Around the hut, cows graze peacefully, chickens cackle contentedly, and pigs wallow in their delight. As a guest, you can comfortably observe this idyll from the tables in front of the hut and truly relax with homemade food before continuing your hike, refreshed.
