The parish church of St. Blasius in Eschweiler-Kinzweiler, which has been occupied since 1300, probably emerged from the chapel of a permanent house. The church tower has the year 1498 as an inscription. When the subordinate Kinzweiler turned to the Reformation, the church became Protestant, but Catholic again in the course of the Counter Reformation. The appearance of the nave, newly built in the 17th century, is characterized by a renovation from 1859 and an extension from 1969.
