This valley has no great slopes. The Alb is easy to get to. Well suited for trekking bikes. And the best is of course the beautiful surroundings.

Very nice ascent, which can also be easily done with a normal bike!

The Kiesental is a wonderful valley that stretches from Bollingen almost to Blaustein. No road, only the finest gravel, make cycling a delight. The slope (coming from Blaustein) is moderate and easy to conquer. With the exception of racing bikes with 22 mm tires, it should be feasible for everyone (including the legendary Bonanzarad). At the end of Bollingen you can cross towards Weidach (ascent) and descend into the little Lautertal or up to Bollingen and continue from there. There are no places to stop for a break. About halfway there is a refuge that is ideal for making a snack (or for weather protection ;-)). Very popular on weekends, although the upper part is quieter.
