We always enjoy cycling in the Bad Urach area. The Swabian Alb has so many great highlights to offer. And if the weather cooperates, it's a perfect day :-)
A quick comment from me: The tour is much harder to edit after the new software update. It doesn't delete the selected images, but it deletes others

I planned this tour shortly before. Bad weather was forecast for the next day. But we didn't have much time today because we wanted to get something done in the morning.
So we didn't want the route to be too long.
It was relatively short, but with quite a bit of elevation gain.
Here in the Ostalb region

We took a relatively relaxed tour around the Kocher Valley in beautiful late summer weather.
We actually wanted to have something to eat at Niederalfingen Castle. But we were 15 minutes late. The kitchen there closes for two hours at 3 p.m., so we headed to Aalen.
On Sunday afternoons, we often have trouble

The Eselsburger Valley, a nature reserve, is always worth a visit. The Brenz River winds its way through this beautiful valley. We drove through it earlier this morning. There was hardly anything going on on our section. So, we didn't take the paved road.
A nice, relaxing tour :-)

This tour shouldn't be done on weekends. The beautiful Wental valley is packed with hikers then. That's why we're doing it during the week. This way, you can cycle through the valley without stress and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
You don't have to travel far to see something beautiful :-)

Hohenstaufen Castle Ruins, Hohenrechberg Castle Ruins, and Staufeneck Castle. At Hohenstaufen, only a few walls remain. But at the others, there's still plenty to marvel at. At Staufeneck Castle, you can even climb the tower.
And the best part of all of them is the fantastic view of our beautiful homeland ;-)

In our opinion, this tour offers the best view of the Three Kaiser Mountains in the Alb region, at the Hornberg ;-)
I'm sure some will disagree. There are so many beautiful viewpoints up here.

Today it wasn't so hot. Perfect temperatures for a bike ride.
The tour also offered some great viewpoints. We took advantage of them and lingered there for a while, admiring our beautiful homeland.
Another successful day for us :-)

Already got a taste of the Christmas spirit this autumn. Typical Rothenburg ;-)
It was lovely again. It's always worth a visit, one of Germany's most beautiful towns.
