Perched on the south side of the blue valley. Nice to look at. For hardcore gravel fans there is a steep ascent to Klingenstein and then on to Harthausen.

Former seat of the Lords of Bernhausen, who stayed there until 1588.
The Ulm pharmacist and co-founder of the German cement industry, Ernst Gustav Leube, acquired and renovated the castle ruins from the Württemberg state in 1860.
